Susan C. Nieman is a public relations/marketing professional who stumbled into publishing after spending more than 20 years in non-profit and corporate communications. In addition to writing, editing and publishing Jewish Scene Magazine for the last 17 years, Susan purchased Memphis' 97-year-old, weekly Jewish newspaper, The Hebrew Watchman in January 2021. In the middle of a pandemic! She and her husband, Larry, have their work cut out for them. "Some people think I'm a little crazy taking on such an endeavor at a time when most would retire." But we love to work while traveling at leisure and enjoy our summers relaxing in our backyard oasis.
