While the food contests are usually the biggest draws, the festival offers a plethora of fun and exciting experiences in a variety of family, kid, and even pet-friendly, activities. Children can enjoy the LeBonheur’s Kiddie Corral and the thrills of playing video games with GameTruck Memphis, bouncing on inflatables, hopping a ride on a train, getting their face painted with “Fairys and Frogs,” and enjoying animals at the petting zoo. The fun definitely doesn’t stop with the kiddies though.
For those Memphis basketball fans looking to challenge themselves, there’s the 20th Anniversary of the Annual ASBEE-Grizzlies 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Be on the lookout for Grizz and U of M and basketball players.
Vendors of artists, jewelry makers and craftsmen are a recent addition to the fun-filled event.
This is an event for all ages. So come out, and treat yourself to great food, family fun, and old-fashioned Southern hospitality. FYI, you don’t have to be Jewish or keep kosher to come join us. You just have to love BBQ and fun times!
“Truly the most anticipated event of the year!”~ Steve Kaplan, participant and Head of Team Development
“The best kept secret in all of Memphis! If you haven’t had kosher BBQ before, you don’t know what you are missing! ~ Eric Mogy, 2017-2019 ASBEE President
