Memphis Hillel Begins School Year with Exciting Changes

With new leadership in place and a second campus in its repertoire, Hillels of Memphis continues a decades-long tradition of serving Jewish college students in Memphis. Rabbi Jeremy Simons, aHebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion graduate and experienced educator, has arrived in Memphis to serve as Campus Director for Greater Memphis Hillel, overseeing Hillel chapters at University of Memphis and Rhodes College. Partnerships Blend Cultures and Build Friendships

Jews around the world and Israelis are forging lasting relationships one city at a time. And this spring, the Memphis Jewish community had the pleasure of hosting delegates from its new partner city of Shoham. The Memphis/Shoham partnership is the newest of 47 linking 550 Jewish communities around the world to communities in Israel through Partnership2Gether Peoplehood Platform (P2G), a program of JAFI (Jewish Agency for Israel).
