Temple Israel’s MRJ-Brotherhood will host its 14th annual golf tournament at Ridgeway Country Club (9800 Poplar Avenue in Germantown) on Monday, May 15.

The golf tournament serves as Brotherhood’s largest fundraiser with proceeds benefiting Henry S. Jacobs Camp, The International Children’s Heart Fund, Temple Israel, and many more organizations. Title Sponsors for the event are Corky’s, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and Diversified Trust.

Registration opens at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:00 pm, courtesy of Corky’s. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. and will end at 5:30 p.m., when players will enjoy dinner, courtesy of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, a live auction and big band music.

“Come join us for an afternoon of golf, drinks, steaks, and music,” said Alex Evans, co-chair of this year’s golf tournament with Marc Taub. “It’s always a great day and raises money for terrific causes. Last year, funds from the tournament purchased an ‘Iceberg’ for Jacobs Camp’s lake and supported Temple Israel High Holy Days Essentials, The Children’s Heart Fund, Temple Israel Crosstown, the Barbara K. Lipman Early Learning Center, among several other things.”

Special thanks to Tower Ventures, Wells Fargo Advisors, Independent Bank, Martin Tate Law Firm, Rabbi Micah Greenstein, Lexus of Memphis, Temperature, Inc., Burleigh Consulting Group, and Doc’s Wine & Spirits, and more, and all the other sponsors whose support make our community efforts possible.

Player fee is $250. To sign-up for the golf tournament, visit timemphis.org. Sponsorships are still available, contact either of the co-chairs: Alex Evans (adevans22@gmail.com) or Marc Taub (taubm@bellsouth.net) for more information.
